James Corden

James Kimberley Corden, OBE (born August 22, 1978) is an English actor, writer, producer, comedian, television host and singer who is a duo creator of "The Wrong Mans" series.  He portrays Phil Bourne

Acting

In The Wrong Mans, Corden more or less portrays the outgoing person, looking for adventure and isn't scared as easily as Mathew Baynton's character, Sam Pinkett. You might recognize Corden from portraying the character, Craig Owens in Doctor Who, where he portrays a character similar to Sam. Skitish and unready for adventure Owens is pulled into an adventure by The 11th Doctor (played by Matt Smith)  just like Sam (Baynton) is pulled into an adventure by a cellphone with assistance from Corden's character, Phil.

Corden is a BAFTA and Tony award-winning English actor, comedian, writer and producer, active since the late 1990s. His television credits include the BBC Onecomedy Gavin & Stacey, co-starring and co-created by Ruth Jones and co-starringJoanna Page, and the BBC Three comedy, Horne & Corden. His film credits includeHow to Lose Friends & Alienate People, with Simon Pegg and Fenella Woolgar; andLesbian Vampire Killers, with Paul McGann. Thanks to his "centrepiece" comedy skeches in 2008, 2009 and 2010, he is heavily identified with Sport Relief, a biennial charity event similar to, and produced by,Comic Relief. Public perception of him as a figure associated with both comedy and sport likely led to him landing a job as the presenter of the comedy sports quiz A League of Their Own. Also, Corden hosted the BRIT Awards in 2013.

Personal Life

He married Julie Carey, and has a son named Max who was born in 2011and daughter named Carey (presumably named after Julie Carey), who was born in October 2014. Both Corden and his wife have "J.C." for initials
